POLAR LIGHT by BRINK started with a seed of an idea back in 2007. I wondered how we could share the emotional impact of Antarctica, to find a way of bringing it into our homes and cities, and perhaps then we might take more care about our impact on this remote and fragile landscape.

ABOUT

PROJECTS + OBJECTS

BRINK create light that evoke some of the worlds most remote and unique places.

ART + SCIENCE

We work with climate scientists to create records of light from around the world.

LIGHT + LUMINAIRES

We use Philips Hue lighting technology to accurately recreate this light in the users home. For each light we produce a limited edition range of luminaires, inspired by the location, designed to compliment the light.

Our first product is Polar Light, produced in partnership with the British Antarctic Survey and Geovation.
